Overview

Apptivity used to be one of the application servers on the market around 1999 and 2000. It could access and integrate various datasources and application logic. Apptivity not only offered a solid application server and component framework, but also came with an advanced IDE making Java development for the framework faster and easier. During Apptivity's lifecycle within Progress Software, a European sales force made Apptivity rather successfull, which Klaas Waslander was part of.

During that period, an apptivity resources site was run by Klaas Waslander personally to enable better exchange of Apptivity resources, this part of the JAVA gazette archive still contains these contents for reference.
